Chapter 409: He’s Not a Beast
The next day, Sheng Tingyuan took Ye Chuyi to the amusement park again.
He knew that she hadn’t experienced such things in her childhood, so he decided to make up for that during their honeymoon. He even treated her like a child, buying her bunny ear headbands, cartoon dolls, magic wands, and even a cute little backpack filled with snacks and candies.
He took her to try various rides, and Ye Chuyi felt happier than she ever had before. Here, she seemed to become a carefree child, and the missing pieces of her childhood were slowly being filled.
In the evening, he took her to see a spectacular and beautiful fireworks display.
Ye Chuyi watched the fireworks bursting in the night sky and, cheering, hugged Sheng Tingyuan tightly. "It’s so beautiful, I’m so happy!"
Sheng Tingyuan hugged her back and laughed. He thought Ye Chuyi these past two days had been like a child, finding everything new and exciting, happy about everything. She finally showed her naive and carefree side, which made his heart melt completely.
He secretly decided in his heart that in the future, he would take her to see all the beautiful scenery in the world, to experience all sorts of happiness. What she missed out on in her childhood, he would make sure she had, what she couldn’t have before, he would ensure she got it all.
Five days later, the vacation ended, and the two of them took a private plane back home.
