The old lady and the woman helped Old Zhao up and began walking toward the door. Before they could step out, they were repelled back by an invisible force.
"What’s going on?" The old lady looked around in terror, convinced that it wasn’t just her imagination.
"Did you feel it too?" The woman turned her head to the old lady.
"Mhm," the old lady nodded fearfully. Could it be because they had done too many evil deeds, and now they had encountered something unclean?
"What’s wrong?" Sige, supporting Liu Zi, joined the trio.
"We were repelled by a force," the woman pointed forward, now truly scared. If it had been just her feeling it, perhaps it could be a hallucination, but even Mrs. Zhang had felt it.
"Uh-huh," Mrs. Zhang nodded in agreement.
Sige glared at the two women and continued walking outside, supporting Liu Zi. He didn’t believe in such things; surely Mrs. Zhang and the woman had been scared by that little girl and were having hallucinations.
