"I see." Jiaojiao frowned.
"Don’t worry, I can handle it well, and Xiaowei... will be fine too." Ruan Chi wasn’t sure how to put it, but in a way, he thought Ruan Wei’s personality was somewhat like Liao Zhaoji’s, just not as severe.
Luckily for him, Liao Zhaoji only left behind Yaya, a little girl, which he could still handle.
"Hmm." Jiaojiao nodded, after all, they weren’t kids anymore, and she had considerable faith in Ruan Chi’s abilities now.
The two of them entered the ballroom, where the atmosphere was lively.
Although Yaya’s appearance was a bit sudden, Jiaojiao’s good mood wasn’t affected, and she was having a great time with friends she rarely gathered with. But this happiness only lasted two hours; it came to an abrupt halt when Hong Ling arrived.
Hong Ling came around four in the afternoon, wearing different clothes from the morning. Jiaojiao guessed she had bought them at the big mall across from the hotel in the afternoon.
To be fair, Hong Ling was quite pretty. Just like the names of the two sisters, Hong Ping was plain-looking, while Hong Ling was beautiful and spirited.
And she instinctively knew how to work things; wherever she went, she liked to make herself the center of attention. In most places, such behavior probably earned her quite a bit of notice, and she thoroughly enjoyed this attention.
But in the Ruan Family, evidently, it’s not the same.
The Ruan Family boys and Lu Zishu were never the type to enjoy mingling with girls since they were young.
