"Isn’t it? In the blink of an eye, it’s been ten years. I still remember when Little Jiaojiao fell and chipped a tooth. She cried so heartbreakingly because girls all love to be pretty, hahaha... Little Jiaojiao, do you remember?" Dr. Lu said and couldn’t help but laugh.
"..." Ruan Jiaojiao.
Thank you, but she doesn’t remember such things at all! Not one bit!
What followed was a time for a few old men to reminisce, constantly bringing up those little embarrassing moments Ruan Jiaojiao had long forgotten. Feeling awkward and helpless, Ruan Jiaojiao shuffled over to Ruan Hao’s side, tugging at his sleeve, and said, "Big brother, let’s go back to the hotel first."
"Sweetie, it’s still early. We’ll go back later and wait for Dad," Ruan Jianguo immediately responded upon hearing her.
Ruan Jiaojiao smiled sweetly, looking extremely lovely: "Dad, Mom told us to go back with Brother first."
"Ah, is that so? Then you guys head back quickly. Go on, don’t delay," Ruan Jianguo instantly changed his stance, as if afraid they wouldn’t leave, and gave them both a little push.
Ruan Jiaojiao and Ruan Hao left the new house. At the bottom of the stairs, they bumped into Duan Xi coming to find her, and the three of them took a car back to the hotel. Before the car started, Ruan Jiaojiao clearly saw Hong Ling chasing after them, quickly urging Duan Xi in front to drive: "Brother Xi, drive quickly!"
Duan Xi stepped on the gas and left the pursuing Hong Ling far behind. She was even sprayed with exhaust fumes because she chased too close.
Ruan Jiaojiao watched Hong Ling stamp her feet in frustration and occasionally cover her mouth with her hand. As she turned back, she couldn’t help but squint her eyes with laughter.
Ruan Hao, sitting next to her, amusedly asked, "You dislike her that much?"
