Ruan Jiaojiao felt she should do something, so she took out her phone and edited a text message to Shu Jiao. Duan Xi shrugged his lips and explained, "I also have abs." Saying this, he tried to lift his shirt, which startled Ruan Jiaojiao enough that she almost lunged forward to cover his hand trying to lift the hem of his shirt.
"Brother Duan!" She hollered in embarrassment and irritation. Who does that? Talking about lifting a shirt just like that, who wants to see any abs!
"I really do have them." Duan Xi worried she wouldn’t believe him, so he guided her hand over his stomach.
Ruan Jiaojiao couldn’t get away, so she had no choice but to follow his hand and feel it. She didn’t know if she felt any abs, but what she felt was definitely solid.
Her face was flushed crimson, and she glanced at him, scolding him for having no shame, then dashed out of the car. This time after getting out, she didn’t look back as usual, but quickened her pace towards the teaching building.
