Chapter 1903: Xiaobai Returns With a Full Load (Part 5)
The boldest one, the same one that had climbed onto Ruan Jiaojiao earlier, followed her finger up and wound around her slender wrist several times, resembling a silver bracelet encircling her wrist.
The other little snakes saw this and tried to imitate, but none managed to touch Ruan Jiaojiao as they were intimidated by the one occupying her wrist, which hissed to scare them away.
The little snakes were small, their bodies tiny and light. Encircling her wrist didn’t weigh much, so Ruan Jiaojiao let them be. Her gaze fell upon the little snake previously bitten by Xiaoxue, and she reached out to cradle it: "Does it hurt? Let me give you some medicine."
Ruan Jiaojiao cradled the injured little snake and went inside, followed by the rest, who swarmed in. Rou Rou and Xiaoxue watched from the side, one looking a bit lost while the other was full of indignation.
"Awooo awooo!" Rou Rou called toward the little house. As if anyone else couldn’t birth little ones!
He tentatively nudged closer to Xiaoxue. The two exchanged a few "awoo" calls. Xiaoxue, unusually, didn’t shy away disdainfully as before and instead left the front yard with him to a secluded corner without people or snakes, to make little ones.
Rou Rou, full of vigor and confidence, declared he would produce seven, ready for a one-on-one challenge!
Ruan Jiaojiao carried the little snake indoors, asked the Ruanlin Family for the medicine box. Xiaobai watched the little snake cradled in her palm being brought in, couldn’t stand it, and took the opportunity to swipe with its tail while she was distracted getting medicine, only for Ruan Jiaojiao to turn back just in time.
"Xiaobai?" Ruan Jiaojiao reproachfully called.
