Meatball silently retracted his bared fangs, lowered his bushy tail, and stepped back two paces. His gaze wandered everywhere except toward the two people who had fallen in front of him.
Uh, this has nothing to do with me. Absolutely nothing! I didn’t even lift a paw, and they just fell on their own. Don’t even think about pinning this on me.
"Meatball!" Jiaojiao glanced at the two people sprawled on the ground, quickly walked over to grab Meatball’s leash, and asked the three tangled-up individuals, "Are you all okay?"
Wu Su saw Meatball up close, immediately panicked, and rolled sideways in a mix of scrambling and crawling, shouting, "It’s a wolf! That’s a wolf!"

However, the fact that he’d scared someone was undeniable. Jiaojiao felt a bit awkward and had Meatball obediently stand off to the side. She stepped forward to help Wu Su up, explaining as she did, "Don’t worry, Meatball isn’t aggressive. No need to be afraid."
"Awooo..." Meatball bared his teeth, expressing quite proudly that he *can* be fierce if he wants to.
"..." Jiaojiao shot him a stern look.
Meatball immediately hid his bared teeth, slinking back a few steps until he ended up beside Ruan Jie. Ruan Jie, on the other hand, praised him with a pat on the head.
