Seeing the frail and delicate girl brought back memories of his younger sister being ill, making him feel some sympathy. He asked with concern, "Are you feeling better? Is everything okay? You need to be more careful in the future. Don’t wander near the river unnecessarily."
The girl’s eyes flickered when she heard "river," but she quickly nodded.
