When they arrived at the canteen, there weren’t many students left. Ruan Feng, Ruan Lei, and Lu Zishu were sitting on one side eating, while three portions of food were laid out opposite them, one portion divided out using the lids of Ruan Lei’s and Zishu’s food containers.
"Xiu Xun, you eat this; if it’s not enough... um, if it’s not enough, there’s nothing to be done, there’s no more food," Little Fatty pointed at the container opposite himself and said. He intended to tell him to speak up if it wasn’t enough, but then he thought that he wouldn’t be full himself, and if they divided it further, he figured he’d starve to death by midnight.
Xiu Xun was a person with a strong sense of pride. Under normal circumstances, he probably would have refused, but today he didn’t. Instead, he sat down opposite, Ruan Jiaojiao’s food container was originally in the middle, but Xiu Xi moved it to the side and sat down in the center himself, separating Ruan Jiaojiao and Xiu Xun.
