"Auntie, I’ll have a good talk with him," Ruan Jun apologized to Shu Jiao, then hurried after Ruan Chi.
He knew that the incident with their father smashing the stool and ending up in the hospital wouldn’t end well, and they had to go to the hospital to help deal with it. It was their family’s responsibility and should not have pulled their uncle’s family into it. Their father might be thoughtless, but they had to be grateful.
Despite Ruan Chi’s strong reluctance, he ultimately left the school gates, pulled along by Ruan Jun.
In a small car at the restaurant, Shu Jiao had asked a former factory colleague of Ruan Jianguo’s, who now drove trucks at their store, to take them to the hospital.
