"Okay, it’s getting warm in here. You kids go outside and play. Grandma just made this for you, let it cool for a bit before drinking," said the Ruanlin matron after eating the pine nuts from Ruan Jiaojiao’s hand, urging them to go outside as she couldn’t bear the thought of Jiaojiao getting choked by the smoke.
Ruan Jiaojiao obediently nodded her head and followed Xiu Xi out of the kitchen.
In the living room, a few older brothers were engrossed in watching "The Legend of the Condor Heroes," and they were so captivated that they couldn’t help but gesticulate wildly as they watched. Ruan Jiaojiao thought they looked utterly foolish and went over to where Ruanlin and Lu Zhiwei were.
Over the past few years, Ruanlin had developed a heavier smoking habit due to business socializing, but whenever Ruan Jiaojiao was around, he would automatically put out his cigarette.
