Upon arriving at the post office entrance, Ruan Jianguo carried in one package after another, each seemingly twice the size of the last, causing the corner of his mouth to twitch slightly.

He walked around the tricycle’s cargo bed a couple of times and finally, having no other choice, disassembled the roof and left it at the post office. Then he had Ruan Jiaojiao and Xiu Xi sit close to the back of his seat and asked them to try their best to hold onto his shoulders before they reluctantly hit the road.

However, when he arrived home and saw how dangerously the two children had been seated, he inevitably got a scolding from the Ruanlin Family matriarch.

"Have you gone mad these years? How could you let Jiaojiao sit like that, what if she’d fallen!" The Ruanlin Family matriarch grew angrier the more she thought about it and didn’t care how grown up her son was; she picked up the broom she was using to sweep the floor and pounced on him.

Ruan Jianguo bared his teeth in a grin as a peace offering, then quickly ducked under her broom and scampered into the yard.

Shu Jiao was over there, using scissors to open packages.
