Chapter 293: Heart Disease (10)_1
It aroused envy and jealousy in her brothers and Xiu Xi.
The decoration of the building was completed half a month later, and several kids were also about to welcome the long summer vacation.
On the day of the final exam, early in the morning, the Ruanlin Family mother got up to start making breakfast. Ruan Jiaojiao, still in a daze, followed her. Xiu Xi took advantage of the situation to feed her two mouthfuls of rice before she gradually woke up and quickly snatched the bowl from him to gulp down her rice.
"Xiaoxi, I’m going to the village head later. If you and Jiaojiao don’t want to go, just stay at home and don’t wander around, okay? The sun is too strong outside now, it’s very hot, don’t get sunburned," the Ruanlin Family mother said after preparing breakfast for everyone, instructing Xiu Xi.
Xiu Xi nodded, indicating that he understood.
Only then did the Ruanlin Family mother take off her apron and hurried towards the village head.
Today was the completion day, and she wanted to go set things up first since the furniture they ordered in the city was going to be delivered later in the evening.
Fortunately, with so many things happening at home these days, Xiu Xi was no longer bringing livestock to their home every day.
The pheasants and rabbits in the backyard of the building had all been dealt with. They had initially planned to open a restaurant first, but recent events were too overwhelming for Ruan Jianguo, so they postponed this plan. They couldn’t sell the pheasants and rabbits in town, fearing it would draw attention. Thus, they used the excuse of buying and checking on furniture to go to the city or the neighboring town to sell them separately every day. Even so, it was still a headache for Ruan Jianguo.
They managed to sell those animals for a thousand or so, and Ruan Jianguo didn’t take a cent, giving it all to Xiu Xi. What he didn’t know was that Xiu Xi turned around and gave it all to Ruan Jiaojiao.
Now, only the larger livestock like goats were left in the backyard of the building. They were kept confined and didn’t draw much attention.
