The night view of the Swiss Alps outside was majestic but, its glory didn’t catch Calix’s attention. His heart and mind were entirely focused on the videos and photos he woke up to hours ago.
The ticking clock displayed a quarter to midnight. Calix and his entourage had just completed their schedule for today. They needed to go out early the next morning as well.

Sitting in the backseat of a limousine, Calix replayed the videos before looking at the photos again and again. The surprise delivered by Leslie through the messaging app brightened his mood for the entire day.
Calix was not alone inside the vehicle. He simply paid his subordinates no attention as he chuckled and smiled by himself. His eyes never strayed far from the phone screen.
The exhausted subordinates had already witnessed their boss smiling like a fool every time he looked at his wife and daughter’s videos and photos. He also bragged about them continuously whenever he could today.
It was already surprising that their boss got married suddenly.
Since when did he and his wife have a daughter together?
Was there any secrets behind this?
Despite wanting to get the answers, none of them dared to ask Calix anything about Leslie and Calliope. They would just wait until they arrived back in the country before targeting Edward with their inquiries.
