Chapter 408: He Would Surely be Proud of His Sister
All four of them went to one of the annexes in the backyard to shower and change into dry clothes. None of them wanted to head inside the manor as they wished to continue staying by the lake.

"I’ll go and get lunch," said Calix as they walked out of the small annex. He glanced in the direction of the manor, "Aunt Wendy made a one-pot meal for us."
Calix requested Aunt Wendy to make a huge batch of lunch for all of them before telling her to take it easy today. He intended to handle dinner himself later. The housekeeper just needed to marinate some meat for the barbecue tonight.
Calix planned to fry some rice and grill the marinated meat by the glamping spot. Uncle Raymond had already prepared the necessary equipment.
Evelyn glanced from Calix to Leslie and Calliope before locking her eyes on her elder brother. Shrugging, she said, "Well, yours truly will help you. Let’s go inside together lest you have many things to bring alone."
Calix looked back at Evelyn in a deadpan manner. He deliberately sighed before responding, "For the record, we have a food trolley here."
"Urgh... Then, go by yourself ah," Evelyn rolled her eyes. She turned her attention to Leslie and Calliope, "Second Sister, Poppy, let’s go back to the tent. Let our new butler handle everything for us."
Leslie chuckled, followed by Calliope. Calix lightly kicked the back of Evelyn’s right leg in response, earning a glare from the young lady.
"Go and get our food ah, shoo."
"You go and eat grass. No food for you here."
"Blergh!"
