Around one hour ago, Evelyn finally emerged from her bedroom. She was simply donning a short-sleeved shirt and wide-leg denim pants but, a radiance aura replaced her previously gloomy mood.
"Second Sister! Thank you for the article!"
A happy Evelyn thanked Leslie as soon as they met in the lounge on the first floor. Calliope was still napping in her room, allowing the two ladies to have a private chat.
"Do you think I implied something... by sending that link to you?" asked Leslie, her smile hinting at something conspiratorial.
Laughing at Leslie’s remark, Evelyn returned her sister-in-law’s smile with a sly look, "Oh? What do you mean by that? I don’t understand ah."
Amused by Evelyn’s reply, Leslie burst out laughing. The two ladies’ giggles echoed in the lounge, adding merriment to the tranquil air around them.
Instead of talking about the cheating scumbag, Leslie and Evelyn chatted about the latter’s previous works.
Leslie was eager to learn more about the dramas and movies Evelyn starred in, especially the ones she had watched before. Fortunately, Evelyn was more than happy to share her experience.
Not long after, Calliope appeared. Her beaming face indicated how the dumpling had already fully recharged her energy.
Running toward Leslie and Evelyn, Calliope sweetly asked, "Mama, Little Aunt~ Can we play in the pool?"
The little one’s twinkling eyes expressed her wish to play with the water. She missed using her cute floaties and wearing her adorable swimwear.
