Chapter 873: Ye Li vs Lu Jue - 873
Both Zhou Fan and Lord Lu had comprehended both of these Rules. Zhou Fan had the Rule of Origin as one of his foundational Rules, while Lord Lu had the Rule of Beginnings as one of his foundational Rules.
Both had similar functions and similar power.
Ye Li was shocked to find that when their Immortal Domains clashed, they were equal. This was despite Lord Lu’s lower cultivation realm.
He exerted force and disappeared, appearing in front of Lu Jue. He chopped at Lu Jue’s neck with his hand, Karma covering it.
Lu Jue pushed out, and a golden scroll appeared, temporarily pausing the attack while Lu Jue formed a sword of stars and cut at Ye Li’s underarm.
This was Lu Jue’s innate gift. It recorded the lives of beings that allowed him to record them and stored a copy of their power within.
It didn’t take form, but existed as pure power that could be used to attack or defend, and not creatively.
Ye Li pushed his hand down, smacking the sword away as three Karma Spirals shot up from the ground and aimed at the center of Lu Jue’s chest. At the same time, another Karma Spiral shot from his fingertips.
Lu Jue’s foot stomped, and the power of a star shot upwards. He did not use this to attack, but to fly up.
Ye Li suddenly felt a sense of danger and foreboding. He burst out with all of his power, thousands of Karma Spirals, some big and some small, shot up at Lu Jue. His Immortal Domain shot forth with everything he had. In addition, the Power of Karma wrapped around him and sparked a transformation.
But even then, Ye Li didn’t feel the sense of danger lessen. Lu Jue continued upwards, reaching the top of the Multiverse. Countless stars swirled around him, taking up space even larger than a Universe.
He looked down at Ye Li, finally speaking.
