Chapter 391: Clock
"You understand what?" Rael asked, puzzled.
"What else? I understood the true purpose behind you people coming here," Lorealis replied with a faint smile, brushing his hair back. "You want to conquer this planet, but not to liberate it. Instead, you want to turn it into a training yard. How despicable..."
Rael raised a brow. "And you were able to find this out exactly how? By searching it up on the internet?"
"I control puppets," Lorealis stated the obvious. "I turned a few of your friends into puppets, and so I was able to take a peek into their minds. Coincidentally, your captain shared some interesting information not too long ago."
"However..." Lorealis’s gaze sharpened. "Even if I might not be able to stop you directly, there are other ways."
He snapped his fingers, and in the next instant, several mechas appeared on the platform.
All of them resembled the ones Rael had one-shot, so he was definitely not against getting some stats from them.
Instead of attacking, the mechas crashed into each other, damaging their frames in the process.
Rael stared for a few moments, puzzled. But then, it hit him.
Are these fuckers trying to transform?
Of course, before they could do that, Rael kicked off the ground and arrived in front of the merging mechas.
And that was when the familiar sound entered his ears. It was the nuclear siren, and it seemed like instead of the spire itself, it was coming from Lorealis.
