Chapter 363: Too Big of A Bonk?
Rael approached Alcetas, who was simply lying on the ground with a smile.
Did I hit him too hard?
That didn’t seem to be the case, as moments later, Alcetas vanished into smoke and reappeared right beside Rael.
He seemed unscathed, but the amusement on his face was slightly concerning.
"Are you a masochist?" Rael couldn’t help but ask.
However, Alcetas completely ignored him and posed a question of his own.
"How much do you know about us? Or rather, our goal here?"
"Hmm... I’m pretty lost on your goal. You came here to find the man who escaped an unknown realm, then you switched to wanting to find the Depths. And now... I’m really not sure," Rael replied flatly. "That Shadow Creation machine, what is it really?"
It seemed like Alcetas was in a jolly mood, since he decided to answer, even if vaguely.
"It creates shadows of existing people. It’s a counterpart to one’s existence, just the complete opposite version. If you are good, your shadow will be evil. If you like dogs, your shadow will like cats," Alcetas said with a chuckle and adjusted his posture once more.
"But your shadow, on the other hand, has untapped potential."
That perked up Rael’s curiosity, but before he could ask about it, Alcetas shot forward and appeared in front of Rael in the blink of an eye.
