"Cut off my balls if I’m lying!" Peter screamed, slamming his hand onto the table, causing the deck of cards to go flying into the sky.
"You fucking bastard!" one of the men shouted as he stood up and lunged at Peter, grabbing his neck. "Do you know how hard it was to get those cards, huh? If you go throwing shit around like that, I’m going to stick a piranha inside your ass!"
Peter clicked his tongue. "I was just kidding."
"And the drink?" The man extended his hand. "The one you just lost?"
"It’s... I don’t have a drink," Peter admitted, lowering his head. "Actually... I just wanted to play with some stakes on the line, you know—"
Peter’s words were cut off as a fierce punch landed straight to his jaw, knocking him unconscious.
In the meantime, Rael watched the entire situation unfold with satisfaction.
