Chapter 302: Killing the Undead Lord
Rael stared at the pop-ups for a second before coughing.
To his surprise, several miniature ice particles flew out, causing him to sigh.
As for the others, they looked at him worriedly.
"Hey man... I think you should sit this one out," Todd said. "No offense, of course. I just don’t want you to suddenly melt while we’re fighting, you know?"
"I agree," Julian chimed in. "You shouldn’t even be moving in your current condition. Every time you move or breathe, you’re reducing your lifespan."
"I also agree..." Jane spoke up. "You’ve helped us many times, and I’d really hate for our savior to just die like this."
Rael grumbled. "It’s alright. I’ll live long enough to see this Shrine through, at least. After that, I’ll figure something out."
Of course, he would.
He wasn’t very keen on dying, after all.
"Strategy meeting?" Todd suggested.
Natasha scoffed. "What for? It’s pretty straightforward this time around. Just kill the boss, and we’re good."
"Hmm... true," Todd hummed. "Let’s keep the formation similar, but Rael will be going to the back lines this time."
