"Hmm..." Zafira hummed in amusement as she rested on her throne, which was now fitted with comfortable pillows.
"It's not a bad plan."
Rael's brows twitched. "But?"
"But it's too optimistic," Zafira added. "If I had to grade your plan, it would be a B, with A+ being the highest. First of all, you're underestimating their intelligence. Second of all... where's the backup plan?"
"Backup plan..."
Zafira sighed. "Your plan is good, but it's too linear. Set up some contingencies. Like, what if Linlin and her sister can't destroy the supplies because everyone except the envoy's leader is guarding them?"
Before he could reply, she continued. "What if they get caught? How will your 'we defend, not attack' plan go then? As it stands, if they don't execute everything perfectly, then we're going to become aggressors."
Fuck... Rael scratched his cheek. I sure am glad I came to her for this.
He was pretty optimistic about his plan. But as she just pointed out, he forgot the contingency plans in case something went wrong.
The Aria card would also have to be reconsidered since there were many things that could go wrong. Such as Halemire not giving a single fuck about her.
He has 11 daughters, so what was one less?
While I doubt that's the case, it doesn't hurt to have that possibility in the back of my mind, Rael thought with a sigh.
