Chapter 63: Cheesing The Event
The Faceless One glanced between the glass and Rael's eyes, an amused look on his face.
"I accept your proposal."
"I'm glad. Here I thought you would choose the long route," Rael chuckled as he downed the entire glass of alcohol. "Anyways, what will you name your organization this time? In the future, you named it Everdawn."
"Also..." Rael continued. "Can I call you by your name?"
The Faceless One nodded. "You may call me Zareth." He turned to Linlin. "You too, girl, I allow you to use my name without facing repercussions."
"Your skill is creepy..." Linlin muttered before continuing to eat.
She couldn't exactly chime in on the conversation, as half the stuff they were talking about didn't make sense to outsiders.
"Let's see... Everdawn is a nice name, but in commemoration, how about I name it something along the lines of Synthex?" Zareth said. "I believe it portrays the essence of my ideals perfectly."
"If that's what you think, then go ahead." Rael shrugged. "I'm not the best when it comes to naming stuff."
"Hmm..." Zareth trailed off as he turned serious. "From this day forth, my organization's name will be Synthex. And since I'll need to set up a lot of stuff, may I take my leave?"
"Zareth." Rael let out a sigh. "Even though I'm recruiting you, think of it as a mutual exchange. We're partners of similar standing now, so just do whatever you want. I'll see you back in Celestara."
"I see..." A smile tugged at Zareth's lips. "I shall wait for you back in Celestara. Goodbye to both of you."
