Chapter 581: Waste of time.
The woman facing her was clad in all black like a cliche movie assassin. Unfortunately for her, it was day time so the darkness could not cloak or hide her. She had probably been to anxious and worried about being caught in the city so she chose to attack as soon as the first opportunity presented itself.
In her hands, she was wielding two curved knives whose grip fit perfectly around her thumbs tightly.
Alix tilted her head right as she made an interesting observation. "You are wearing a pretty good face mask and you have no system so i guess you must be a member of Everyone. Aah! its not even a face mask but human skin. It looks so real that i would love to see how it works. I hope you don’t mind but i am going to peel it off your face after incapacitating you."
The woman didn’t respond and she lunged at Alix instead. Alix scoffed, and had a change of heart, the knives were shaped oddly and had some poison on the tips.
If they slashed her even in the slightest, who knew what would happen to her babies?
She got her hammer which had crushed a few undead skeletons to death and just when the assassin was within arms length she swung it and hit her in the stomach.
The woman went flying back and her head hit the wall. Just one hit was enough to render her unconscious.
Alix approached the woman and kicked her in the ribs. A rare unkind sneer formed on her face.
"What a waste of my time, one hit and you are done."
They should have sent a system host, at least she would have a system to eat. This one was rather useless to her, apart from the human skin on her face, there was nothing else she could get.
When she looked at her hands and the face of the unconscious assassin, she was unwilling to peel it off personally.
