Chapter 566: A long pregnancy.
By the time Caishen rushed out to catch up, Alix was gone. He did not get far either because the Tai brothers came after him like a pack of hyenas and dragged him back. The sight of Xiaobo activating a rocking horse which Alix had given him did not escape his eyes.
He was busy showing off, without a single thought to anything else. He was so comfortable like this was his own home. Caishen couldn’t help thinking that they should just change his name to Tai Xiaobo.
"What did our sister mean?"
Where is the red tailed fox?"
"It’s a six tailed fox Fong, you just talk without thinking."
"Don’t forget red, red tailed...no, red six tailed fox."
Caishen groaned the way Alix had done many times on that day. The sudden bombardment of questions one after the other suddenly reminded him of where he was; the Tai house, with Alix’s many brothers that were quite talkative.
He surrendered and he was dragged back to the dining room, instead of sitting around the dining table, they moved to the bar. Caishen, had another glass of wine, chugging the entire drink down in two large sips before filling them in on the story of weather boy, the rain and the attacks.
When he came to a stop, most of them were checking the bureau website for information while Ho Sun and Haoyu opened the nearest window and looked up at the sky which was pouring rain down mercilessly.
Tai Ho Sun’s face was dark and he was scowling. From everything they heard, things were a lot more dangerous than they thought. Perhaps this light rain was like the calm before the storm.
In their sisters’ current condition, they agreed with Caishen that it was not safe for her to be out there, fighting all sorts of system hosts. They needed to protect her, but against system hosts, they were not equipped to take on such a battle.
