The unexpected but bold declaration swept everyone by surprise, especially the reference to himself as a bastard. Alix wanted to find the nearest swimming pool or any water body really and just dive him head first. Everyone was looking from the silly system to her as if she had been the one to teach him to refer to himself as a bastard.
"It wasn’t me." Alix denied strongly.
She looked down at the silly round eyed system and pinched it’s ear. "You little troublesome bastard, hurry up and tell them."
The moment those words slipped out she realized that she had just declared herself guilty and she groaned. Raising her eyes to meet those of the others, she felt a little too hot and embarrassed.
"Okay, this one is one me, i admit. But, i really didn’t tell him that he was a bastard. This troublesome kid is not as simple as he appears."
"We know." Tai Ho Sun shared.
She saw that all the older brothers and mature people were nodding. Apparently, with every strange thing happening in the family now, everyone had turned into Sherlock Holmes and they had keen eyesight, keeping tabs on every small change in everyone and everything around them.
"The kid has been eating like a dustbin Alix, it’s not normal. We figured he is one of the special people and you are on baby sitting duty." Auntie Mo shared what was the conclusion they had all jumped to was.
Alix turned her head to Caishen, a ’why didn’t we think of this?’ look on her face.
"Well, you are right mom, he is special." She jumped on board with the new and better explanation. In the back of her mind she was thinking, ’He is special alright, a special troublesome system.’
"Well, he is our kid now, you can consider him my and Caishen’s child." she informed them.
