Chapter 547: Between Alix and the captain
The friendly match came to an end and people started evacuating the small stadium. Alix was in no hurry to leave, she had to wait for the star of the day Yuewei anyway as they had to go home together, as a family.
She escaped to her car briefly in order to avoid being crowded by parents or speaking to the reporter that was determined to interview her so much so that she had cornered her in the bathroom at one point.
While waiting, she noticed that the weather was experiencing a few changes, minor to the untrained eyes and those that were not informed about system hosts. Just like everyone else, she had heard the rumors about weather boy being in the country.
Was it possible that he was not just in the country but right here in her school? How did he get past the security measures put in place by her system?
She stepped out of the car and looked around, searching for the blue elf because it needed to confirm her suspicions. Her eyes were met with as surprise as she did not see Zhang Mafan but the captain, instead.
"Huh!" she exclaimed in wonder.
Tai Dalian found her and he started rehashing the most exciting aspects of the game. "Look, this is the part where the ball flew all the way over the field like a rocket and..."
"Brother, excuse me for a minute." Alix broke away from him and run towards the captain.
He was standing at the top of the stairs at one of the exits of the stadium, feet wide apart and hands behind his back with a serious look on his face. His body language was screaming don’t touch me and everyone that came close to him cleverly took a detour.
She came to a stop on the step below the one he was standing on and looked up at him.
"Captain, fancy seeing you outside, are you a baseball fan?"
