Chapter 62: Dark Canyon
After leaving the real-life matters for later and jumping into the game, Yone was surprised to find that some people had already reached level 6 and that many casual players had reached level 3.
It should be known that he just left the game for 3 hours in real life, meaning only 6 hours had passed in the game. Even then, the growth of the players was something that Yone found terrifying.
With that thought, Yone gathered his party of Silent Wall, Swift Slash, and Rage and went to grind towards the lake right below the mountain and the newbie’s forest.
Many players had already risen to Level 3 at the current stage of the game. Hence, aside from raiding the Dungeon at the Death Stone, they would stay in the forest right in front of the town, meant for newbies to kill Level 1 and 2 Wolf Cubs.
Only a few experts would go to the Level 4, 5, and 6 areas, which are the deepest part of the newbie’s forest and beyond it, right at the lake’s shore, to level up. However, along with the increase in player levels, it wouldn’t be long before Lake Shore would become occupied.
After spending over half an hour returning to Lake Shore, the scene they met with was the same as what Yone had exactly expected.
Several elite parties, which were around the range of level 4 and 5, were grinding non-stop, totally ignoring the fact that the Death Stone dungeon was being traded by crazy by several guilds and that a random player had already cleared it on Hell Mode in their southern region.
Although this scene was to Yone’s expectations, he still couldn’t fathom how any of them could be so careless about the Death Stone dungeon and just brush it off to the roadside like that.
If Yone didn’t have a 48-hour cooldown on his next entry to Death Stone, he would be living in it right now and not here grinding monsters and resources.
That was how important the dungeon was for the various guilds in his past life after they entered the city and knew the resources they were missing and could only be found inside of it...
