When that occurred, their stocks shot up to terrifying levels and just buying 1% of their stocks would cost millions of dollars if not more; it all depended on the identity of the buyer and if he was even allowed in the first place.
Smirking all the way to his living room, Yone prepared a cup of noodles, ate it, and then chilled on the sofa for an hour or so before calling his father, his voice shaky from happiness, but suppressed it as best as he could.
"ALoo, is that you, kiddo?" His father’s choice was playful as usual as he joked with him, although his voice was old, there was still that fresh younger days still mixed in it.
Yone felt his tears welling up hearing his father’s words right after his mother’s but he suppressed those emotions as he was over that period now and spoke, his tone serious as he instructed his father.
"Dad, would you believe if I told you I won the lottery and got a lot of money?"
A crazed laughter sounded from the other side of the call as a sound of a loud bang was heard, and a minute had passed before his father replied," Sorry about that, Yone, I laughed so hard that I fell from my chair and needed some time to get back up hahaha."
He couldn’t help but laugh again, but Yone didn’t mind. He knew his father was always this playful and cheerful, and he only awaited his real response.
