Chapter 48: Last Boss (Bonus - )
"Everyone, recover for now. I’ll explain the method to raid Gibli in a moment." Yone wanted everyone to ease up mentally first.
It would not be easy to face off against Gibli since he wasn’t like the other monsters, and they already had enough training on mental strength, so any more would only be harmful and not beneficial in the slightest.
The boss was complicated. It was by no means an easy feat to achieve, as he possessed a particularly annoying ability- his long sword- that could lead to a team wipe, causing significant trouble. Additionally, his weapon was of high grade, having a higher critical damage rate.
The fight would require a high degree of concentration because a single mistake would cause everyone to be buried together. The boss was just that hard!
Hearing Yone’s command, everyone sat down to recuperate. They ate and drank to recover to their best state, whether in terms of mana or mental health, as the pressure they exerted in these ten hours was so taxing on them.
Things could get really messy if the tank fell to his sword attack and got hit by it! But unlike the Regular Goblin, which is the second boss, the Goblin Elite, the final boss, is incredibly mobile and a solo boss without any annoying waves. Hence, if they avoid his sword, the fight is smooth sailing, if not then...
Seeing everyone recovered and in a completely good shape, Yone started explaining the boss fight," Gibli, unlike the second boss, who was solely relying on his waves of monsters, this one relies totally on his own strength. He basically only has two attacks you have to be wary of, one of them is his sword slash, whether it be vertical or horizontal, he would slash with his 10-meter sword targeting any player or direction with his attack being unstoppable and undefendable, meaning that you have to dodge it."
"His second attack is berserk. Giblin would go into a rage state for 10 seconds and ignore all agro by teleporting behind our casters and trying to one-shot them in the blink of an eye. Dodging this attack is easy but also hard, our casters need to follow his eye movements at all times, and the moment he locks eyes with you is the moment he is targeting you with the berserker skill, so you have to sidestep to the side and run at full speed."
Hearing his explanation, everyone felt that the boss is really easy and not hard in the slightest, but they couldn’t help but have some questions on whether his words were truly that’s all to it.
"Party leader, you sure he only has two skills?" Life couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow to Yone’s explanation.
