Principal Nian felt pleased: "Not bad, all above eighty points. It seems that Wu Jiangsheng’s participation in the study group was very effective."
Principal Nian turned to Wu Jiangsheng: "Wu Jiangsheng, are you sure you completed and handed in your math exam?"
Wu Jiangsheng confirmed assuredly: "I am sure I did. After I received the math exam, I quickly skimmed through the entire paper and found that I could do sixty percent of it, twenty percent was between being able to do and not being able to do, and twenty percent I mostly couldn’t do.
I first completed the sixty percent that I could do, then worked on the twenty percent that was in-between, and finally, I studied and guessed the remaining twenty percent that I couldn’t do. With five minutes left, I handed in my paper.
When Mr. Chai received my exam, he even took a special look at my paper, saw that I had finished everything, and gave me a strange glance, probably surprised that I had actually finished the exam.
But Mr. Chai actually says he never received my paper!"
At this point, Wu Jiangsheng felt a surge of anger.
"Did you write your name on the paper?" Principal Nian asked.
"I did. The first thing I did upon receiving the paper was to write down my name."
