In fact, Rick was undecided at heart.
When he went out to make a phone call, he also felt strange, thinking that there was no need to be so cautious, and the other party might be bluffing him.

"What’s up, Rick? Was today’s negotiation going well?" John was sitting in the office watching a game, feeling much more relaxed since signing a cooperation agreement with the Blue Maple Group.
Rick said cautiously, "John, I’m undecided about something and would like to seek your advice."
"Oh? There’s something you, Rick, can’t decide? Do you know why the company sent you to Flame Country alone to handle affairs? It’s because you’re smart and capable on your own, so we trust you."
"I appreciate the company’s trust in me. However, during the conversation just now, a gentleman presented some data and demanded they continue production for a month, recover all the inventory, and compensate them with a termination fee of twenty million."
"Fake! Are they crazy? How could we agree to such ridiculous terms? Don’t forget what leverage we have over them!" John exclaimed angrily.
"Yes, I find it incredible too. But I think there is something wrong with that data."
"What data?"
