Chapter 14 - 13: Divine Doctor
When Yang Chen returned to the ward, his eyes couldn’t help but light up. He saw Chen Siyan with her long hair draped over her shoulders, blushing cheeks, and a pair of pure, flawless eyes that reminded Yang Chen of the little girl’s appearance when he left back then.
Seeing Yang Chen, Chen Siyan couldn’t help but giggle foolishly, her eyes curving into beautiful crescent shapes. This made the young girl look even prettier.
The other patients nearby were a bit surprised; they hadn’t expected the little girl who had been hospitalized with them for so long could be so stunning.
Yang Chen walked to the bedside, ruffled the little girl’s head, and said with a smile, "Girls change eighteen times as they grow up, and each change is for the better."
"Hehe!" Chen Siyan shrank her neck a little, seemingly unused to Yang Chen’s intimate gesture, and said, "It’s all thanks to Sister-in-law’s makeup skills."
Yang Chen nodded at Ye Xin, speaking softly, "Thank you."
Ye Xin shook her head slightly, leaning over the bed, looking at the beautiful smile on Chen Siyan’s face, feeling very calm inside.
Qin Zhiyuan returned and was equally stunned upon seeing Chen Siyan’s appearance. Comfort and relief shone in his murky eyes as he lightly touched Chen Siyan’s wig and said, "In the blink of an eye, you’ve grown so much and become so beautiful."
"Director, I’m sorry!" Chen Siyan lowered her head, her eyes reddening.
"Don’t cry, or you’ll ruin your makeup," Ye Xin reminded.
