Chapter 11 - 10: If the sky falls, I’ll be there!
"Put me down!" Ye Xin seemed panicked for the first time, struggling to jump off Yang Chen.
She actually felt that if she didn’t resist, she might end up losing herself right there.
Walking out of the registration office, Yang Chen pouted, "Look at you, we’ve already got the certificate, we’re married, what’s the big deal about the bridal chamber?"
Ye Xin blushed and said, "No way, we..."
Her eyes turned, a smile appeared on her face as she grabbed Yang Chen’s arm and swayed coquettishly, "Hubby, we agreed, we can have a flash marriage and get the certificate, but we should respect each other and get to know each other first."
"Did we? When did we say that? How come I don’t know?" This little girl is so tempting. If it weren’t for Yang Chen having cultivated enough self-control over the years, he would have lost it by now.
"How could you forget! We haven’t seen each other for twenty years, you should give me some time, right?" Ye Xin said playfully.
Yang Chen’s legs didn’t give way, but a man passing by stumbled and fell down the stairs, causing his wife to stomp her foot in anger.
Yang Chen was just teasing Ye Xin. Seeing that she was unwilling, he didn’t insist, "Shall we find a hotel now and hold a wedding banquet?"
"There’s no need for a banquet, I don’t have any relatives here."
"Perfect, neither do I." Yang Chen shrugged.
