Instead, it was Bai Su by her side who felt as if his heart was pierced by something sharp upon seeing her skillful action, the pain was overwhelming.

She tossed aside the spent syringe and adjusted her sleeve, "Let’s go."

The two returned to the living room just as Jiang Gujun arrived. He was taking off his shoes while extending a bag in his hand, "Mr. Su, the clothes."
Bai Su took the bag and went to change.
Rong Zhi went to the kitchen to check how Rong Jiazze was doing with breakfast. Ten minutes later, the four sat at the dining table to eat.
As they were eating, Rong Zhi’s phone, resting at the side of the table, suddenly rang. She swiped to answer; it was a call from Shen Luoluo.
"Third brother!" Shen Luoluo sounded excited, "Are you free at noon today? My flight is at 1:30 PM to M Country with Teacher Tao Ruisi. Can you come to see me off?"
Tao Ruisi was supposed to return to the country last month, but Shen Luoluo’s documentation issues delayed it. Now that everything was settled, they booked today’s flight to M Country.
