Han Qiwu looked at another piece of parchment. On it was a notice.

"Lantern Festival already?" Han Qiwu was a bit startled. He’d been so busy lately that he’d forgotten about the holiday altogether. He calculated the time—his parents should be up by now. Han Qiwu made a video call back home.
"Mom, Dad, Happy Lantern Festival," Han Qiwu said with a smile. In the video, Mrs. Han appeared to be making tangyuan, her hands covered with glutinous rice flour.
"Happy for your dad, busy for your mom," Mrs. Han replied grumpily. "Are you coming home today? If not, I’ll make less."
Ever since Han Qiwu could remember, Mrs. Han had always been the one to make tangyuan every Lantern Festival. She’d buy glutinous rice flour from the old shop—it always tasted so good, clean, and made tangyuan that were more delicious every time.
"I’m not coming back today. Don’t tire yourself out too much. I’ve just raised four chicks recently, they need someone to care for them. Aside from feeding, I also have to shut the coop door at night," Han Qiwu shook his head and said.
He definitely didn’t want to come back for a matchmaking arrangement.
