"Got it," Ye Tiao shut the door and came in, giving a slight cough that betrayed some embarrassment, "I should come clean with you about something first."

Shi Mei’s tone was a bit stern, which made Ye Tiao tense up as well.

Ye Tiao reluctantly swallowed the words on the tip of her tongue and looked at her nervously, "What’s your plan?"

"Today is grandma’s seventieth birthday, the event is grand, and many people will be attending," Shi Mei washed her face, "As far as I know, almost all of grandpa and grandma’s old friends will be there. My grandparents are on good terms with the two from the Shi Family. I suspect they’ll also attend."
