Chapter 81 I Killed Bai Yan
"Jin Ao, you go ahead, I’m a bit tired and want to return to my room to rest," Bai Yan said.
Bai Yan suddenly mentioned feeling seasick, and Jin Ao was about to go to the first floor to get her some seasickness medicine. Bai Yan then suggested following him along; it would be a good chance to get some fresh air.
But just as she reached the corner, she changed her mind.
"Then let me take you back first," Jin Ao said with concern.
"It’s not far, I can go back myself," Bai Yan waved her hand dismissively.
Still, Jin Ao watched her until she reached her door. Only after Bai Yan waved to signal that she was fine did he feel reassured enough to head towards the elevator.
Bai Yan removed her hand from the fingerprint scanner on the door handle but didn’t enter the room. Instead, she turned and went in the opposite direction of Jin Ao.
It was early dawn, with few people in the corridors. Bai Yan avoided the sparse crowd and made her way to the outdoor staircase leading to the sixth floor.
Leaning against the railing, letting the cold night wind brush past her, her gaze lingered on the distant round moon. She curled her lips into a smile and spoke, "You’ve been following me for so long, and still won’t reveal yourself?"
A tall man emerged from the shadows. His handsome and divine appearance was now steeped in cold malice: "By sticking to that Golden Flood Dragon, you might manage to live a few seconds longer."
"You’re Shi Xie, aren’t you?" Bai Yan chuckled softly and reached her hand out to him. "Your talent is impressive, your strength outstanding—why follow Xiao Jinsheng, that temperamental female? Why not consider following me instead?"
