Chapter 92: Is this order...
"Hm, is this the order for customer 206?"
A woman’s voice suddenly cut through the moment, interrupting their conversation. Both Angel and Tryson instinctively turned their heads toward the speaker, momentarily pulled back into reality.
Their smiles slowly faded as their gazes fixed on the woman clad in a crisp corporate uniform, a stark contrast to the casual atmosphere of the canteen.
In her hand, she carried a neatly folded paper bag.
Angel took a moment to process the woman’s words, then gave a small nod before reaching out to accept the bag.
"Yeah, thanks," she murmured as the bag was handed to her.
Just as she began to pull out the meal inside, Tryson, to her surprise, swiftly plucked the bag from her hands.
She turned to him with a playful pout, watching as he opened the container with a smirk. Without missing a beat, he scooped up a bite of food and lifted his gaze to meet hers.
"I should probably be the one serving you," he teased, holding the spoon out towards her. "It’s the gentlemanly thing to do, after all."
A warm blush crept up Angel’s cheeks as an unexpected flutter stirred within her. Tryson’s gesture, so effortlessly charming, sent her heart racing in a way she hadn’t anticipated.
She had never been treated this way before, and the unfamiliar warmth of it all made her heart flutter.
