Chapter 16: You will eat that meal.
Racheal stood beside Riley, both of them in utter disbelief as they watched the scene unfold before them.
Riley, unable to mask her anger, shot a burning glare at Tryson, who was still having Angel in his arms. Racheal, equally stunned, was quick to react, her words harsh and unforgiving.
At that moment, Angel gently tapped his shoulder gesturing him to drop her on the ground, and so he did.
"Really? Now she’s turned my brother into her servant?" she scoffed, her heels clicking sharply on the floor as she marched toward them, with Riley following closely behind, visibly upset by what she was witnessing.
Tryson turned at the sound of Racheal’s voice, his gaze falling on her as she approached, clearly not holding back her criticism.
Before he could say anything, she raised a hand to stop him. "You wouldn’t, big bro," Racheal said in a mocking tone, her eyes narrowing as she looked at Angel with disdain. "You really let this woman come into your house?"
"What’s the meaning of what you’re doing, Racheal? You’re making a mountain out of a molehill," Tryson said, his voice calm but firm, trying to reason with his sister.
But Racheal wasn’t having any of it. She glared at Angel with disgust before responding to Tryson.
"Sincerely, brother?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Yes, I am. Besides, what are you even doing at my house?" Tryson countered, his patience wearing thin.
"I came to see my brother, how about that? But I really didn’t think the rumors were true," Racheal retorted, her words almost dripping with condescension.
