Chapter 128: Phantom
The police were just too stupid. Helena thought as she stopped in front of the club with the huge bright shining signboard that read, ’Phantom’. If a club opened with the name of a self-proclaimed thieves association, shouldn’t you check it out?
But they didn’t. They wouldn’t. Maybe that was the reason that Victor used the name, so he could get off on knowing that they were right in front of the police the whole time and yes they could not see them.
Phantom was more than a club, for every college student in the premises, it was the place to be. The absolute pit of debauchery. She flashed her VIP card to the bodyguard in front of them and walked in.
Blue and red lasers swept through the dance floor, the DJ wore a rabbit mask playing the music loud enough to make her wish she either brought her earplugs or killed him. One of the two.
She bit her lips, brushing through the tens of drunk or high people who were grinding on the dance floor. It was not an easy task, they moved and grooved to the throbbing swell of music as if they were puppets on a string.
Soon, she saw Nova. She was dressed in a barely there, see-through, lace dress that stopped just mid-thigh. If one could call it a dress. She was dancing with a woman, tall, with short kinky curls. Their bodies writhed together as Nova pulled her closer, her hands sliding all over the woman’s hips, moving down with each passing.
Helena pulled the woman away, "Get lost!" She said harshly and looked at Nova who grinned.
"So Hel baby, you want to dance with me."
Helena rolled her eyes, "I need to be sober right now. Where is Victor?"
"Probably banging some twink. Not everyone is as tight-laced as you are. Loosen up a bit. Come on, dance with me."
Helena bit her lips and looked away somewhat. She felt angry with herself at the small desire in her heart to dance with Nova. But she knows Nova and knew how much that was a bad idea.
