Chapter 313 - 312: Because we are not compatible!
Shentu Jing was about to have the blanket and quilts to Qin Zhuzhu when he overheard the conversation between her and Shentu Mingye.
So he didn’t walk into the room, he stayed behind the door and listened. After she hung up the phone call, he gave the blanket to her as if nothing had happened.
"Are you hungry?" Shentu Jing asked.
"No. I’m going to bed," she yawned. "Are you joining me?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Why not? We are together now," he placed his large palm against hers.
The warmth travelled from his palm to hers causing Qin Zhuzhu to blush slightly. Her ears turned slightly red.
She quickly pulled her hand away from his and hid her face under the blanket. That motion of hers was very cute. Shentu Jing chuckled. Until now, she was still shy and nervous when they made skin contact.
The two climbed into bed together, Shentu Jing wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. With her by his side every night, his insomnia was cured.
The night was peaceful. Qin Zhuzhu looked up at his beautiful closed eyes, his nose was only a few centimetres from hers. Her gaze flickered to his lips. The beautiful man was sound asleep, his chest rising up and down.
His grip on her was tighter than usual. She looked at him confusedly. Was he having a nightmare? But he didn’t look like he was having.
She had always felt like he was keeping something from her. What was it? Last time, she vaguely remember that he wanted to tell her something about him but it was she herself who refused to listen to it. Was that what she thought it was?
