Chapter 305 - 304: The nightlife of Shengjing
A young girl wearing sneakers strode into Skyward Peak Residence. Because the gate was broken by Shentu Jing and hasn’t been fixed yet, it was easy for anyone to walk in.

Her eyes met with Shentu Jing, lips quivering. Jiang Zhaoling’s breath was shaky.
When news reached her that her first friend and cousin was dead, she felt empty and refused to admit it.
"You guys have a talk. Don’t worry, Sanya is talking to Mingye," Qin Zhuzhu said and then she left to give them space.
It was awkward between them. Jiang Zhaoling wanted to scold and kick Shentu Jing. But she was relief that he was alive and well.
Silence hung over them as neither of them said a thing. When you pretend to be dead for many months and then it turns out that you were alive, it was inevitable to run from the grief, anger and guilt building up in your heart. It was also impossible say sorry to the people who cried over your grave and expect everything to be okay.
"Zhaoling, I’m sorry," Shentu Jing said.
