Chapter 291 - 290: Missed the competition
Qin Zhuzhu looked at the watch and sighed. Looking at the time, there was no way they could make it. She texted the others and informed them of the new plans and what happened.
The foreign man overheard their conversation. These two must be attending the competition as well, right?
"Change of plans. We can’t make it with all these traffic. Besides, the man here still need some observation. I cannot leave just like that until the ambulance comes," Qin Zhuzhu said with a sigh.
"Aren’t you afraid that you’ll miss the competition? This competition is a once in a lifetime chance to become famous. Many people would ignore others for themselves. They put themselves first," The man spoke in Chinese. Although his words were correct, his tone and pronunciations were slightly off.
Qin Zhuzhu could understand him though. She was surprised that he know their language.
"I know. I admit I’m afraid. But compared to a life threatening situation, saving you is more important. Famous....," She thought about it. It was true that she waved to become famous to fulfill her grandfather’s wish.
"I can try again another time!" She cheered up instantly. Although she was sad and disappointed, she could try again next winter or next year. There was always tomorrow.
The foreign man held his chest and looked up at the girl, admiration flashing in his deep blue eyes.
Jingmin, on the other hand, didn’t understand the way Qin Zhuzhu think.
"Team leader, you are really magnanimous. If I were you, I would have selfishly go to the venue first," Jingmin sounded sad.
"Don’t be. You wanting the best for yourself is a normal human response," Qin Zhuzhu comforted her.
