Chapter 245 - 244: If you keep talking, I’ll throw you out to the sharks

The black sportscar dived headfirst into the water. Water leaped everywhere, covering the car from top to bottom.
All Qiao Nian saw was blue, and black. She gasped for breath. But, wait a minute.... She didn’t had to try hard at all!
There seemed to be oxygen in the car! Freak air hit her lungs. And the water didn’t enter the car at all. Astonished, Qiao Nian looked around, her feet, her hands, everything! She turned to look at Shentu Chu with a puzzled expression.
Shentu Chu breathed out slowly, his fingers interlacing with hers. Unconsciously, he had grabbed hold of her hands. And she had done the same, even though they were separated by seats.
Then Shentu Chu heard the mechanical whirring of something. He peered out the window, his heart still pumping like mad in his chest. He saw the tires moved in and was replaced by four propulsion nozzles.
Two fins popped out of the sides, the dashboard flipped over to reveal one that looked like a submarine.
"Holy shit. Qiao Minde, this is crazy! Your car is awesome!" Shentu Chu excitedly yelled. The sportscar had changed into a submarine!
"Why can’t you remember what I said?" Qiao Minde said, annoyed.
So that’s why Qiao Minde wasn’t afraid to drive the car into water. Why didn’t he said so earlier that his car could transform? That would have save him from screaming.
"Ah Nian, are you okay?" Qiao Minde glanced at her through the mirror.
