Chapter 200: Qiao Shenji

Qiao ShenJi returned home after spending almost the whole day outside. He sighed, tired and exhausted after a trek up the mountains. He needed some quiet space to think thoroughly about his life before he married her - the life when he was still a Tang.
After meeting with Shentu Jing, he decided to take a trek with mother nature to enegize and refresh his drained out brain. Everything was confusing, he noticed. Did he really made a mistake? Was it really Shentu Jing who killed his parents in a car accident and run away from the crime?
He found some clues that pointed at Shentu Jing who was seventeen years old at that time. Shentu Jing was driving a car and it was said he drank wine and became drunk. That’s why he was capable of causing the accident.
The evidence wasn’t really that strong in the beginning. Now that he had met with Shentu Jing, it seemed like he last hope of finding justice for his parents were gone.
"You’re home," a voice said, startling him out of his thoughts. Qiao ShenJi would have freaked out if it was a stranger but this voice was the familiar sweet voice that calmed him down every time he wanted to thrash something.
He turned to see his absolutely gorgeous wife lying sideways on his bed, her legs on his mattress as she rested on her palm. God, she looked so seductively that he wondered what was she up to tonight.
"Sorry for making you wait. I had a lot on my plate," Qiao ShenJi said as he hung his coat up and went over to plant kisses on his wife’s soft cheeks.
