The Shentu mansion was very quiet. Shentu Mingye had left, and so had Shentu Jing. Jiang Wubai took Jiang Zhaoling back to the Jiang family.
Ning Ning was gone for good and nowhere to be found. Old Master Shentu was living in another residence far away, as usual. He only seldom came to visit the Shentu mansion whenever he heard that the entire family was together.
So now, the Shentu mansion only had Shentu Dong and Shentu Chu, along with many servants, guards, the butler, and maids.
Shentu Chu was feeling very bored. No brothers to play tricks on, no one to accompany him or scold him.
The place was quiet. The wind chimes hardly moved, and the birds seemed to have flown far, far away. The only sounds came from the maids and servants who walked back and forth, cleaning the mansion as usual.

"I heard the second young master hates his two brothers because they’ll fight with him for the properties. Sigh... I thought this was a happy family," another girl said.
"Yes, yes. And that Miss Qin told everyone that her relationship with the second young master was fake. I really thought it was real!" the girl with brown hair shook her head.
