Chapter 71: No wonder she smells so good!
Shentu Jing woke up earlier than Qin Zhuzhu. He glanced at the time and realized he had overslept! Damn! Sleeping with this Little Pearl was like a drug, it numbed his senses and made him forget all about his important work.
He wanted to lie in bed a little longer, but his phone beeped with a new text message from Luo Yue.
Carefully, he got out of bed, afraid to wake the sleeping woman beside him. Last night, when they were sleeping together, he hadn’t expected her to be so clingy. She had held onto him like a bolster and even kicked him out of bed at one point!
He bore a grudge for that and wanted to pinch her cheek in retaliation. But his phone beeped again. Luo Yue had something urgent, so Shentu Jing could only bite his lip in frustration and glare at the ruthless woman sleeping soundly.
He freshened up, ending up using her toiletries. Huh, the stuff women use definitely smells nice. No wonder she smells so good!
Shentu Jing quickly left for work. As he was about to step out the door, he turned back and walked over to his Little Pearl’s bed. Leaning forward, he planted a soft kiss on her forehead. Finally, he left.
"Ah Xian, the data," Shentu Jing called as he drove to the office.
Han Juexian handed him a board attached with papers.
"We’ve found where Miss Qin’s father is," Han Juexian said, looking concerned.
At that moment, Luo Yue walked in, his expression grave.
