Chapter 4: Make your clothes colourful
Zhuzhu had no choice but to agree. She told the shopkeeper to keep the jade bracelet properly and not sell it to anyone. She promised to return and redeem it back no matter the price. The shopkeeper gave her an agreement which she signed. Then she left the shop. With the money, she bought herself some shoes and cleaned her feet.
She still had enough for a meal or two. Her phone rang with a notification. Checking it, she realized that she had been fired from her job. Apparently, it seems someone claimed that she was rude to customers at the boutique and liked to throw her authority around. That was false but her superiors believed those lies and fired her. They even deducted her bonuses!
Qin Zhuzhu really felt like punching a hole in a wall or something. How could these people treat her like that? They will get their share of their cake soon, Zhuzhu promised darkly.
Suddenly a pink Lamborghini zoomed past and splashed muddy water on her!
"Hey, isn't that the poor heiress?" A girl wearing sunglasses said.
"Boo-hoo!" The second girl laughed and mocked Qin Zhuzhu.
"Oh my!" The third girl giggled pretentiously as the Lamborghini came to halt beside Zhuzhu. "Did I dirty your clothes? Wanna go to the thrift store to buy some new ones? They are all cheap! Ha ha ha...." The girls laughed and mocked Zhuzhu.
These girls were colleagues of Xu Jing and Xu Lan. So it was no wonder that their temperament was similar to them. Disgusting and bitchy!
Zhuzhu looked down at the clothes which she bought from Xu Jing and Xu Lan with her hard earned money. Then she looked up at those three girls, reeking with murderous intentions. When the girls saw her sharp gaze, they felt the hair stand on the back of their necks yet they still kept their heads high, taunting her.
