Dong Xin Yan didn’t want to cry, but her nose filled with an endless sourness, her eyes stung and swelled, mist rising before her eyes, blurring her vision. She watched Lady Wei’s slowly receding figure, and time seemed to instantly return to that night. She dragged her luggage, leaving resolutely. She ran up, grabbing her hand, shouting "Mom, don’t go," but she forcefully shook her off. She fell to the ground, without even a glance, she strode away.
